Renovation Residential and Commercial Building

The richly structured facade at Barfüßer Straße was restored in coordination with the office for the Preservation of Monuments of the city of Göttingen on basis of conservation criterias, although the building is not classified as a protected historical monument. The right part of the window display has been re-designed with a vertical emphasis and sandstone columns. The renovation of interiors is based on the principle of “old”, still useful elements which shall be preserved, new elements shall be added where appropriate”.

Old and new coexist harmoniously. The result are bright and modern spaces with the charm of an old building. Es entstanden helle und moderne Räume mit dem Charme eines Altbaus.
